Grace Ortuzar
I am a PhD candidate and applied microeconomist in the Economics Department at the University of Notre Dame. My fields of study are public, labor, and health economics.
I am on the job market during the 2025-2026 academic year. My Job Market Paper examines the effects of public eviction records on low-income households.
I am an NBER graduate fellow and an affiliate of the University of Chicago's Inclusive Economy Lab (IEL) and Notre Dame's Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO). I have worked on several large-scale randomized controlled trials as a research associate at LEO. My work has been supported by the Russell Sage Foundation and Notre Dame's Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts. Before graduate school, I studied Economics and Political Science at Indiana University and worked for RTI International.
